Shownotes    "Monitoring congestion through impedance measurements is used in HF patients at high risk of deterioration. The algorithm that was developed is capable of detecting a drop in impedance earlier than symptoms of decompensation occurred. Audible alarms can elert the patient to contact his physician. Several ongoing studies are now testing the algorithm prospectively."
