Shownotes "Several epidemiological and clinical trial data show that congestion is the major cause for heart failure hospitalizations and an important predictor of mortality and morbidity. Early identification of congestion is an important target in the management of patients with heart failure as early treatment will prevent hospitalizations and the progression of the disease. Traditional methods to identify congestion such as body weight measurements are limited, often delaying appropriate interventions. Improved methods to identify congestion may improve clinical management and outcomes."
